JV Tournament The vans leave
Bellaire at 7 am. They have a minimum of 3 mini (40 minute) games.
They will be at:
It is cold and the fields are
sloppy and wet, but they won their first round on a penalty kick.
- 12 Noon vs. Montgomery on Holt Park 1
W 2-1
- 2 pm vs. Summer Creek B on Brenham HS 1
W 3-0
If they win their bracket, they move on to the
quarterfinals played at 4:30 pm.
Update 1: The boys won all 3 games and
have made it to the quarterfinals. They will play at least one more
round. Other team is running late. Kick off will be around 5 pm.
They are playing A&M Consolidated B.
Update 2:
The boys played to a 0-0 tie. They went to a shootout and lost 0-1.
So, they will be headed back after they get some dinner. I'll post an
estimated arrival time when I hear they are on the road.
Update 3: Buses
loading at 7 pm to return home. Should be to Bellaire about
8:15 pm.
Semifinals are at 6 pm, and the championship
games will be played at 7:30 pm.
So, the earliest the boys would leave Brenham
would be 3 pm. Depending on how well they are playing, they may not
leave until 8:30 or 9 pm. The coaches said to bring enough money for 2
meals.
